The Colorado School of Mines (CSM), along with the Colorado Energy Research Institute (CERI), will host the 29th Oil Shale Symposium at the Green Center on the Colorado School of Mines Campus.
The Symposium will review development of oil shale resources worldwide, including research & development, impact analysis, regulatory framework, and project & program status.
The Symposium will consist of a broad overview session on Monday afternoon (October 19th), two days of technical sessions in many different program areas (see list) on Tuesday and Wednesday (October 20-21), and an optional field trip Thursday and Friday (October 22-23).
The deadline for submission of abstracts will be June 30, 2009.
